UCHealth is extending its implementation of DUO multifactor authentication beyond its current scope of e-PCS workflow in Epic.
On March 12, 2019, DUO will be enabled for all staff and affiliates using the MyApps.uchealth.org Citrix portal for remote access. When working remotely, such as from home and other locations that are not on the internal UCHealth network, MyApps will require DUO multifactor authentication. Exclusions for Community Connect clinics and UCDenver/CUMedicine locations will be in place to maintain provider efficiency.
If you are a provider already using DUO for Epic e-PCS workflows, or you have already participated in our DUO pilot project, you are already registered and ready for this go-live. We do still encourage you to review the documentation on this page as you may learn some additional tips and helpful suggestions.
Special note for Lawson and Kronos users
Historically, Lawson and Kronos have been available to remote users directly through a web browser. As part of the DUO go-live, remote users of Lawson and Kronos will be re-directed through the MyApps portal so that these apps will benefit from the additional security DUO provides.
