I’m really proud of you all. It’s daunting to think of what you face every day just by going into work. Thank you for helping all these strangers and giving them humanity and care in what is possibly their scariest time and the time when they need somebody the most. Thank you thank you thank you. Before this pandemic, I was already in awe of you, our healthcare workers. You save lives every single day, every hour, every minute. What you give back to this world is life...very few can say that. And now in the midst of this, you've put on your bravest face. You fight to preserve what's most precious. Even at a time when most would flee in fear. There's too much gratitude and admiration to be encompassed by the simple words "thank you". We all owe you.

From home it’s easy to feel safe and feel removed from the scary side of this pandemic. But you guys choose each day to wake up and walk back into the facilities that have the weight of the world on their shoulders, not knowing what you day will hold, not knowing how bad it will get.
-You are there for the public
-You are there for the patients, professionally and emotionally, knowing their families can’t be there
-You are there for each other, supporting and motivating so you can all keep going

I’m a regularly scheduled outpatient at the UCHealth Anschutz Clinic. I’m not famous and apart from my immediate family have no particular reason to stand apart from others. I’m unable to be helpful during this time by fundraising or using my name to aid in any way. I can say my life depends on my doctors and I know at this time everyone must be stretched thin at medical facilities worldwide.
What I can do is promise you that I will do my part to stay as healthy as possible at this time so I’m one less thing for you to deal with. I promise I will continue to add all of you in my prayers as I have been doing for the past month especially.

I only know one person as of this date that has been hospitalized. He was pretty severe when admitted. I heard from his family that he is on the mend now! You see all the bad, and may not realize there is still a lot of good!

My thanks to all the caregivers at UCHealth. I especially appreciated the letter today explaining the virus and what we might expect. It was so helpful to get information from a source I know we can trust. Thanks to all of you and know that you are so appreciated!
