A word from your patients.
Who better to recognize the work you do to improve and save lives every day than the patients you have touched? From small gestures to making the difference between life and death, what you do is so important, and you make extraordinary possible.
See patients express their
gratitude
in their own words.
in their own words.
We stand behind you and together we will overcome the virus
Thanks for taking care of us

I'm so appreciative of the excellent care I received in the Emergency Department last week. You went about the business of giving true professional care despite the difficulties you are facing during this pandemic. You all are true professionals, and I really felt cared for in addition to the professional care I received. We're fortunate to have UCHealth here for us when we need you. God bless you all.

- A
Our healthcare workers are the true heroes during this pandemic. I want to assure you that there are still people out here trying to stay at home as much as possible and flatten the curve. Thank you for all that you do, it is truly amazing!

- R
Thank you for helping everyone that's sick. Thank you for being there for all our communities in Colorado!

- J
This is such a crazy time for everyone, but I cannot imagine what the healthcare workers and front line workers are experiencing right now. I'm sure you never thought this would happen as none of us did. We are all in this together and remember that your community is supporting you through it all. Keep it up!!

To all my healthcare workers out there grinding every day...
I want to take this moment to say I got mad respect for yall.
I'm sure anyone who enters the field of healthcare assumes they will have to make certain sacrifices in order to excel in their profession.
I'm sure most who have a passion to serve those in need somehow understand the duty to commitment it takes in pursuing higher education and maintaining continued professional development.
I have a feeling yall understand that there will be sad days and lonely nights, working 24hr shifts for days on end...
But I would make the assumption that hardly any of yall anticipated the amount of personal sacrifice and dedication it would take to combat a once in a century pandemic.
I want to use this time to acknowledge your above and beyond efforts.
Thanks to yall we are finally seeing a flattening of the curve.
For every sad story we see on the news I would venture to say there are 5x more stories that never get told that speak to resilience and humanity.
There has been loss in this pandemic but you all have helped to ensure that Coloradans' fights with dignity and grace.
Its easy for me to sit back here on my computer and jot down some notes of inspiration but I hope that this bit of encouragement receives you well and that you can feel my genuine intent.

Thank you for staying the course, and for your dedication to keeping us well. You will never know how much it means.

- K
I want to thank you for your selflessness, compassion, and dedication. I know it is extremely hard to watch someone die and not be able to do anything except be there for them. I just lost my mom in November 2019. But you all are doing this for not one but many, and not for your loved one but for total strangers. You all are SUPERSTARS AND SUPERHEROS, but most importantly you are definitely ANGELS SENT DIRECTLY FROM GOD to care for His sick and weak. I am so proud of your strength and courage and I am keeping all of you in my prayers.

Thank you for working so hard and diligently regardless of the current state of the world. You all are seriously hero’s and that will never be forgotten

- J
Thank you to all the techs, phlebotomists, therapists, chaplains, dietary staff, registrars, facility engineers, housekeeping, sterile processing, supply chain management, unit secretaries, CNAs, paramedics, and patient transport. So often it's the doctors, advanced practice providers, and nurses who are recognized and you are the forgotten ones. You are NOT forgotten. You are loved! You are needed! You are AWESOME!

- J
Thank you for the work that you are doing and the risks that you are taking to provide care for those who really need it. It is inspiring to see the tireless efforts of people like you on the frontlines of this pandemic putting everything you have into your work. It is truly selfless and I cannot express my gratitude enough, I can rest easy knowing that there are excellent people providing care to so many.

- C
I don't know how to express my gratitude! Thank you and thank you! I'm so sorry you have to be in the front line of everything people are escaping from. I'm so sorry that you have to leave your family and sacrifice part of yourself to be with your patients and co-workers. I'm so sorry that there are ignorant people on the street without proper medical precaution going against all the medical professionals's effort to help people. I hope you are taking care of yourself while you may have only been focusing on taking care of others. I wish there's more I can do besides writing this support/thank you letter. Please take care! Hope you and your loved ones are staying well.

- Y
A sincere "THANK YOU" to all the staff at MCR in ER and on the third floor who cared for me when I was hospitalized for "Complete Heart Block" and to receive a pace maker, May 1 through May 5. You were all GREAT! and I appreciate everything you did.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the vital work you are doing on the front lines of this pandemic. As I sit here helpless, watching my third and possibly fourth family member pass from this terrible disease, I know first hand how important the role you play is in the lives of these patients. It brings tears to my eyes to imagine that all of you bear the burden of caring for our loved ones in our stead. This can’t be easy, no matter how much it is appreciated. But since thank you is what I can do for now, thank you, thank you, thank you! Sending love and genuine, heart felt appreciation.

- S

Though it may not feel like it, what you are all doing is heroic. It may sound cliche, but not all heroes wear capes -- they wear scrubs. I know that you must feel alone and feel like things will never get better, but I promise you that they will. You are not alone and you are more important than you will ever know. I appreciate everything that you do, pandemic or not. So take some deep breaths, and trust that we will make it out of this. Together.

- J
