I work with some of the best humans on the planet! They truly care about others and often go above and beyond in the fight against COVID. We are so fortunate to have these kind of folks working in our state!

Thank you to all our front line staff. I was in line at Highlands Ranch Hospital for drive through testing and when it was our turn we were greeted by happy and patient staff that had obviously been working tirelessly for hours! You guys are awesome!

Thank you to all the healthcare workers! You are appreciated SO much and your hard work and care for others does not go unnoticed. I hope my family, nor I, have to be cared for during this time but I know if we did - we would be in the best of hands! You are the real heroes, thank you for being there in our biggest times of need.

Thank you, physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, nurses, nursing assistants, laboratory, respiratory and radiology technicians, pharmacists, patient transporters, case managers, social workers, administrators, orderly, and all the hospital staff who directly or indirectly selflessly continue surging our community during these hard times! Thank you for bearing the the emotional toll of this pandemic more than us folks with other jobs. I understand that we're not through this yet, but there are some of us who are taking this seriously. I have been isolated since March to try and make your jobs easier, to keep one more bed empty. You are being heard.

Darker days lie ahead of all of us, but for you they're incomparable; just remember: there are those of us who have listened and continue to listen. Not just for ourselves, but for our communities, and for our health care workers: you.

I thanked our health care workers and health care support earlier this year, but now I thank them again for the stamina and mental fortitude that they have for continuing to work to save us all from the worst outcomes of this virus. I thank them every day by wearing a mask and staying home and seeing friends and family virtually, but I feel for them, the drain this must be on them, and how hard it can be when there are those that they can't save. I try to donate when I can, but I wish that I could lend them a reserve of emotional and mental strength. It feels inadequate to only be able to thank them with an email message, but I want to say I recognize that being viewed as a hero can feel like a burden, but we know that you are human and deeply appreciate what you are doing. Please take care of yourselves too.
