Thank you to all of the frontline workers and all those who support them in taking care of so many who are so sick. I pray for you daily and appreciate all of you.

I’ve always known that nurses are amazing. That is why I became one. But this pandemic crisis has moved all providers and especially nurses to the brink of their abilities. Nurses are strong, strong enough to support their patients, their colleagues and the families that are relying on them to save the life of their loved one. I send the spirit of strength to you every day to keep up the good fight. This will be over one day. People everywhere will come to know the knowledge, skill and strength of nurses. You will be appreciated and respected at a higher level than ever. Please remember this every day. You are smart, you are strong and you are special. Blessings to you all.

The pressure and risks you are under can hardly be understood. You are performing the height and breath of what you are trained to do and could do no less. Yet the strength and dedication you embody empowers all of us, medical and non-medical alike. Thank you. I am so proud of my profession and my fellow nurses!!!

As a police officer, I really appreciate all YOU are doing to protect and help our communities during this pandemic. I cannot even imagine what you are dealing with, but as I tell my trainees and coworkers, take care of YOURSELF. If you aren’t ok, you can’t help others. Try to make time to take care of yourselves (not always easy). You are in my thoughts, and I have hope we will all get to the other side of this.
