UCHealth is proud to partner with Major League Baseball® and Feeding Colorado to raise awareness and funds to fight hunger in our state during MLB All-Star Week. We’re also offering an opportunity for fans to make a donation to Feeding Colorado to benefit those facing food insecurity by clicking the link below.
What's food insecurity?
Food insecurity is a lack of consistent access to enough food for an active, healthy life. Having an unbalanced and insufficient diet can lead to serious health problems. The COVID-19 pandemic has increasingly highlighted this and other issues that food insecurity has created in Colorado.
What we’re doing to help Feeding Colorado.
Feeding Colorado, an association of five Feeding America food banks in Colorado, will be the beneficiary of an initiative during the MLB All-Star Celebrity Softball Game on Sunday, July 11. For every home run hit throughout the game, UCHealth will donate $10,000 to Feeding Colorado.
