Colorado Center for Personalized Medicine

The mission of the Colorado Center for Personalized Medicine, a partnership between UCHealth and University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, is to advance the health of patients, families, and communities by integrating patient health records and bioinformatics to deliver tailored treatments for disease.

Our vision is to develop a biospecimen repository that reflects the diversity of the State of Colorado and the surrounding mountain and mid-west region to support a broad range of research, operational and clinical quality improvement agendas.

By integrating predictive, personalized, preventive, and participatory medicine into existing health care delivery systems, we will exploit the power of big data to educate the next generation of clinicians and bioinformaticians.

“Our partnerships will help drive the health care discoveries of tomorrow and realize the full potential of precision medicine.”

- Richard Zane, M.D., UCHealth Chief Innovation Officer, Professor and Chair, Department of Emergency Medicine, CU School of Medicine

Regeneron Genetics Center

The partnership between Regeneron Genetics Center (RGC) and the Colorado Center for Personalized Medicine (CCPM) at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus is a large-scale research collaboration designed to advance the field of human genetics and precision medicine through the sharing of 450,000 DNA samples and corresponding health records from de-identified, consented patient participants in the expansive UCHealth system. The RGC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Regeneron, has entered into the collaboration with CCPM and will sequence these samples, producing genomic data that can be used to facilitate translational medical research, and ultimately enable physicians to make better decisions for their patients.
