UCHealth opens Elk Lakes Medical Center in Greeley

New site offers urgent care, primary care and behavioral health care services.

Greeley, Colorado (July 11, 2024) – Residents of Greeley and surrounding communities now have access to additional health services with the opening of UCHealth Elk Lakes Medical Center

The new medical center opened this week at 2819 35th Ave. in Greeley. It offers primary care, urgent care and behavioral health services in the middle of a bustling business district. 

The primary care providers caring for patients at this new location include Dr. Anna Wilkins, physician assistant Kathryn Lonsberry and nurse practitioner Mary Beth Bender. This team, provides comprehensive and preventive care for patients of all ages, including routine physicals, sports physicals and health maintenance. Primary care clinic hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Friday. 

To schedule an in-office appointment or a video appointment with one of these providers, call 970.652.2801 or log in to UCHealth’s My Health Connection portal and click on the Appointments tab. Same-day appointments may be available. 

The urgent care clinic medical team includes Dr. Amy Shenkenberg, physician assistant Sherrie McCoy and physician assistant Gary Montgomery. The clinic is open seven days a week, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday to Friday and 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. 

The urgent care clinic is a perfect solution for those with animal bites, colds, cuts and scrapes, fractures, headaches, stomach aches, minor infections and wounds, sore throats, sprains and strains, and sports physicals. 

No appointment is required to be cared for at the urgent care clinic. Patients can walk-in or reserve a spot in line online. For more information, call 970.392.6875. 

Clinical therapist John Fay will be providing behavioral health services for patients at the new medical center as well. To schedule an appointment, patients should first seek a referral from their UCHealth primary care provider.
