Kindness is good for you.

Whether you’re giving or receiving it, kindness can make you feel better, do better and make the world a better place. Let’s show, share and inspire kindness and see just how kind we can be.

  • 1 You share what kindness means to you.
  • 2 We share your acts of kindness.
  • 3 Everyone celebrates kindness together.

Kindness means good times and helping others

Kindness is when your husband buys the entire family holiday costumes to wear for fun. He’s Santa. I’m Ms. Claus. Our two sons are a reindeer and a snowman. They are silly, but the process of putting them on, taking silly pictures and sharing with family and friends has brought about many deep belly laughs. Kindness is interjecting joy in the lives of others. I am grateful for the smiles his action has provided us all.
Kindness is leaving an unexpected large tip to a server/delivery driver.
Kindness is buying food for your neighbors stuck in quarantine.
Kindness is shoveling your elderly neighbors’ driveway.
Kindness is paying for the next person in line.
Kindness is taking a breath (or two) before you respond to a negative comment/email.
Kindness is entertaining a child who has pushed her parent to the brink of tears and needs a moment to gather herself.
Kindness is letting someone go in front of you in the grocery store line.
Kindness is offering to do the chores when mom and dad are tired …
Kindness is kind.
Kindness is smiling with your eyes.
Kindness is embracing differences 🙂 and kindness is forgiving others
Moving toward someone in a loving and caring manner so as to bring hope for the human condition without expecting anything in return.
Kindness is making handmade cards for cancer foundations, hospitals, shelters, retirement homes, children's homes and other organizations in need. I'm so happy to be able to contribute something through creative efforts in order to hopefully support others.
In this time of social distancing, showing kindness through the mail is a fun and personal way to let others know that you love and care about them!
Kindness is embracing other people’s differences.
Taking the time to tell your loved ones that they are appreciated and loved. My six year old leaves me messages when I go skiing in the morning and cannot see him off to school. He also writes my wife and I messages about how much he loves us. I now try and be more like my six year old than ever before.
Kindness is to give: love, time, space, all you can, yourself a break, money, others the benefit of the doubt, your gifts and share what you're good at and what you love, someone an education, more than you take, someone hope, and giving back.
Children children, kindness is true
Everyone should know the truth
Some kindness makes hearts burst with pride
And some makes people feel good inside
But the best kindness is the one shared with all
If you share kindness you will receive the kindness
In return and one should know all people can achieve kindness
And all can receive it.
Kindness is something that can be practiced and learned. It may not always come natural, and that’s okay, as long as you can remain mindful and open.
Kindness is what provides a glimmer of hope in dark times.
Kindness is prioritizing selflessness.
Helping other people. I like to make care bags for people who need them the most.
Kindness is saying thank you
Kindness is…having patience and understanding for all.
An unexpected note from a friend
A hug from your spouse, children, or even your pet!
Kindness is playing with someone.
Doing something with the intention of improving someone’s day
If we don’t practice kindness, then happiness will elude us.
Kindness is the triple effect. Being kind to someone in trouble or in need helps more than just one person. It helps the recipient; it helps the giver by provoking feelings of usefulness; and it inspires those around the kind person and encourages them to commit equally kind acts.
Kindness is good for your health and theirs.
Kindness is reserving judgment.
Kindness is attentiveness.
Kindness is -- All we need.
The world is full of kind people. If you can't find one, be one.
Paying for the coffee of the person behind me.
Kindness is holding someone's hand when they're unhappy.
Spending time with a friend even when you have million other things to do.
Kindness is teaching someone how to bake cookies.
I will always try to give a wave when I see neighbors as I walk
Kindness is giving and receiving hugs.
Listening more than talking
