Four UCHealth hospitals have received national recognition as top performers for high-quality patient care in the annual Vizient, Inc. Quality and Accountability ranking, all scoring in the 90th<\/sup> percentile or higher.<\/p>\n

The Vizient Quality and Accountability Study<\/a> helps participating hospitals and health systems \u2013 1,220 are part of the annual study \u2013 \u00a0understand their performance in comparison to their peers nationwide and identifies processes associated with high performance in quality and safety across a broad spectrum of patient care activity.<\/p>\n

\u201cAll UCHealth locations focus on providing the highest quality care for our patients, and our dedicated physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses and staff members are committed to this each and every day,\u201d said Elizabeth B. Concordia<\/a>, UCHealth president and chief executive officer. \u201cThese quality designations also reflect the innovative AI tools provided through the UCHealth Virtual Health Center<\/a>, which are adding additional layers of monitoring and safety for our patients, delivering on our mission to improve lives.\u201d<\/p>\n

UCHealth hospitals across the state were honored<\/strong><\/h2>\n

UCHealth Memorial Hospital Central in Colorado Springs<\/a> received 2025 Rising Star honors for exemplary performance across six patient care domains, measured by a rise in at least 20 positions from the prior year and into the Top 25 nationally in the Vizient study.<\/p>\n

It was one of just two Rising Star recognitions given by Vizient in its annual rankings of hospitals across the nation. Overall quality at Memorial Hospital Central is now in the 90th<\/sup> percentile, ranked 20th<\/sup> among 192 hospitals in its large specialized complex care cohort.<\/p>\n

UCHealth Pikes Peak Regional Hospital in Woodland Park<\/a> also was named a top performer and was recognized with the Vizient Bernard A. Birnbaum Quality and Accountability Award. The hospital has achieved the 99th<\/sup> percentile, ranked 2nd<\/sup> nationally among 154 hospitals in the critical access hospital cohort, which includes hospitals in rural areas with 25 or fewer inpatient beds.<\/p>\n

Also recognized as a top performer in the Vizient Bernard A. Birnbaum Quality and Accountability Award ranking: UCHealth Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland,<\/a> which reached the 95th<\/sup> percentile, ranking 10th<\/sup> out of 192 hospitals in the large specialized complex care medical center cohort.<\/p>\n

UCHealth Highlands Ranch Hospital in metro Denver<\/a> also reached the 95th percentile, ranking 12th out of 208 hospitals in the Vizient complex care medical center cohort.<\/p>\n

The recognition period is for work spanning July 1, 2024, through June 30, 2025.<\/p>\n
