She added the \u201cimpossibly tiny\u201d size emphasizes the message in the note.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI just try to be encouraging and uplifting \u2013 to be positive and relate in some way,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>As a mother with a kid near the patient\u2019s age, Beisner said she could see he needed something to lift his spirits.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe really liked it, and he thought it was pretty cool,\u201d she said. \u201cHe discharged not too long after that.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Beisner has worked in health care for about 17 years, and she\u2019s been with MCR for about six years.
