It is meant to celebrate a new baby and bring joy to lives, whether it be a family celebrating their new addition, other patients, or staff, physicians and volunteers.<\/p>\n<div class=\"su-youtube su-u-responsive-media-yes\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"400\" height=\"400\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/qiaUEaUhFcs?mute=1\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen allow=\"autoplay; encrypted-media; picture-in-picture\" title=\"Birth announcement music debuts in the hallways of UCHealth Greeley Hospital\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p>After every birth, the hospital\u2019s birth center team presses a &#8220;magic button,&#8221; and the song plays overhead in the hospital&#8217;s hallways and common areas. Fixmer said he hopes it will give everyone a moment to pause for peace, hope and a reminder to smile, no matter what they are doing and where they are in their life journey.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We wanted original &#8212; we wanted something that was Greeley,&#8221; Greeley Hospital President Marilyn Schock said.<\/p>\n<p>Violinist Sarah Off and cellist Mathieu D\u2019Ordine, the musicians who recorded the song, performed the song for hospital staff shortly before it was aired overhead for the first time.<\/p>\n<p>The hospital is on track to deliver 800 babies in 2023, so this sweet song is expected to get a lot of airtime, Schock said.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>UCHealth Greeley Hospital unveiled a one-of-a-kind lullaby in September that will serve as an official welcome to the world for each baby born at the hospital.
