Lo que sea que haga, lo que sea que prepare, sabr\u00e1s que lo hago con amor&#8221;, dijo Marleni.<\/p>\n<p>Sigue esta receta para preparar garnachas:<\/p>\n<h2>Garnachas guatemaltecas de Marleni<\/h2>\n<h3>Ingredientes:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>2 libras de carne para guisar<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 cucharadita de sal<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 cucharadita de pimienta<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 cebolla morada grande, picada<\/li>\n<li>4 dientes de ajo<\/li>\n<li>2 hojas de laurel<\/li>\n<li>1 libra de masa preparada (masa de ma\u00edz) para tortillas<\/li>\n<li>Aceite para fre\u00edr<\/li>\n<li>1 manojo de cebollines verdes, cortado en rodajas<\/li>\n<li>2 jalape\u00f1os (cortados en cubitos (opcional)<\/li>\n<li>Tomillo<\/li>\n<li>2 tazas de col morada rallada<\/li>\n<li>2 tazas de zanahoria rallada<\/li>\n<li>5 onzas de queso fresco o Cotija desmenuzado<\/li>\n<li>2 tomates Roma cortados en cubitos<\/li>\n<li>1 manojo de cilantro picado<\/li>\n<li>1 y 1\/2 tazas de crema agria<\/li>\n<li>Lim\u00f3n cortado en gajos<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Para preparar la carne desmenuzada:<\/h3>\n<p>Sazone la carne con sal y pimienta. Coloque la carne para guisar en una olla grande. Llene la olla con agua para cubrir m\u00e1s de 2 pulgadas por encima de la carne. Lleve a ebullici\u00f3n, a\u00f1ada la cebolla, el ajo, una hoja de laurel y la sal, y hierva la carne al descubierto hasta que est\u00e9 tierna, aproximadamente 1 hora y 1\/2, retirando la espuma continuamente. Agregue agua, seg\u00fan sea necesario, para mantener la carne cubierta. Retire del agua, enfr\u00ede ligeramente y desmenuce la carne usando dos tenedores. Coloque a un lado.
