She also looks forward to her role in the PVH master plan construction project and ensuring that staff as well as the community benefit from the improvements.<\/p>\n<p>Bruning joined PVH as an operating room orderly in 2003; she became a registered nurse in 2006 and later served as an operating room nurse, clinical nurse educator and charge nurse before becoming an OR nurse manager at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uchealth.org\/locations\/uchealth-medical-center-of-the-rockies\/\">UCHealth Medical Center of the Rockies<\/a> in 2014.<\/p>\n<p>Since 2018, she has served as senior director of perioperative services at PVH, MCR and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uchealth.org\/locations\/uchealth-greeley-hospital\/\">UCHealth Greeley Hospital.<\/a>\u00a0 Personal connections are of high importance to Bruning, who said the relationships she\u2019s cultivated will help her exert a positive influence across the region.<\/p>\n<p>Bruning holds a master\u2019s degree in health care management and administration from Colorado State University, a bachelor\u2019s in nursing from the University of Northern Colorado and a bachelor\u2019s in biology from Louisiana College.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>FORT COLLINS, Colo.
