David Cowden<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>FORT COLLINS, Colo. (June 13, 2017) \u2013 Four new providers joined UCHealth teams in northern Colorado in May, boosting access to care in Longmont and Loveland.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. J. David Cowden joined the pulmonology and critical care medicine team that will be caring for patients when UCHealth Longs Peak Hospital, 1750 E. Ken Pratt Blvd., Longmont, opens in late summer.<\/p>\n<p>His philosophy is to provide the best patient care and respect for every patient and family, one at a time.<\/p>\n<p>Cowden\u2019s clinical interests include complex cardiopulmonary physiology, multidisciplinary care coordination and interventional pulmonary procedures. He is especially interested in research on population health, sepsis and interventional bronchoscopy techniques.<\/p>\n<p>Cowden earned a medical degree from the University of Michigan Medical School in Ann Arbor, Mich., and a master\u2019s degree in epidemiology from The University of Iowa School of Public Health in Iowa City, Iowa. He completed a residency in internal medicine at University of Michigan Medical Center in Ann Arbor and served as chief resident in the department of internal medicine at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor, Mich. Mountain View Ave.<\/p>\n<p>She works collaboratively with patients to achieve better health and quality of life.<\/p>\n<p>Carle focuses on preventive care, promoting healthy habits and helping patients take control of their own health, including treatment of asthma, diabetes, hypertension and other chronic medical conditions.<\/p>\n<p>She earned a medical degree from University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas. His research interests include qualitative analysis of decision making in avalanche terrain and ski patrol patient care protocol development.<\/p>\n<p>Bush earned a medical degree from University of Colorado School of Medicine.
