UCHealth Urgent Care and UCHealth Occupational Medicine are now open at 1600 Mid Valley Drive in Steamboat Springs.

“UCHealth and Yampa Valley Medical Center are here for the Steamboat Springs community, and we are excited to offer these services in a new location,” said Soniya Fidler, president of UCHealth Yampa Valley Medical Center. “Urgent care is a new service offering for YVMC and allows us to provide another level of care for locals and visitors as we continue working to lower the cost of health care for everyone.”

The new location consists of seven exam rooms that will be utilized with both urgent care and occupational medicine patients. Lab and x-ray services are onsite, with any additional patient imaging needs and services available at the hospital.

Advanced practice providers, registered nurses, medical assistants and technicians will care for patients experiencing illness or minor injuries that don’t warrant a trip to the emergency department, yet are too important to wait for a primary care appointment.

“A number of the staff who previously worked at the location accepted positions with UCHealth, both in the urgent care and occupational medicine setting as well as at the hospital, and we’ve hired other staff as well,” said Ryan Larson, director of clinic operations at YVMC. “Patients can be confident that their health is in good hands.”
