Sally serves both children and adults, and enjoys working with a diverse population. Before coming to UCHealth SportsMed Clinic YVMC, Sally was employed by the public school system. She left that position to assist in establishing Pediatric Therapy Services at YVMC, where she is the team leader.
Sally provides evaluation and treatment for children with communication/cognitive deficits including; receptive and expressive language disorders, verbal apraxia, stuttering, articulation and voice disorders. She also provides intervention to children with Autism, Down Syndrome, Fragile-X, and other developmental disabilities.
Sally also serves adults who have impairments in communication, cognition, swallowing and voice. These impairments may be a result of stroke, traumatic brain injury, surgery, cancer or other neurological impact.
During her leisure time Sally likes to have fun with family and friends, in addition to reading, hiking, snowshoeing and gardening.
