Being board certified in internal medicine and geriatrics, the vast majority of my patients have been older than 65. I enjoy building long term relationships with my patients, many of whom I have known for 15 or 20 years. Through this relationship, we come together to determine the best care for that individual.

A number of the children of current and former patients have come to see me as they themselves have aged, something I consider a great honor. My goal is always to try to eliminate potentially harmful medications and to prescribe medications and diagnostic tests based on medical science. I also try to encourage healthy lifestyles at any age.

I am a Colorado native married to an incredibly intelligent and successful Colorado native. Our two children now live in Denver and New York City. I have spent many hours over the last 30 years running, hiking and biking the incredible trails and roads in and around Colorado Springs.
