My role
I strive to provide all the information parents want and need so they can make choices for their children. I see my role as an advocate for the child and for his or her parents.

What I enjoy most about my job
I love working with children because they are so honest. I hope I can make a difference for their future! I love seeing kids grow and change. I feel like a part of the family. I now see some children of my former patients, and that is really special.

About me
I grew up in a small town in Texas and received my medical training in San Antonio. I have lived in Colorado and worked at Longmont Clinic for about 30 years. I also work at Longs Peak Hospital as a pediatric hospitalist for a week at a time about every five weeks.

I have one adult daughter who lives in Loveland. My husband of 35 years is a Montessori teacher. When I’m not caring for patients, I love to hike and camp, and I also like to travel and to learn about other places and cultures. I am very interested in science and nature. I also enjoy music, playing flute and hand bells.
