Laura Plankis received her B.S. in Sports and Exercise science from the University of Northern Colorado and earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Chatham University. Laura is specialized in treating pelvic floor dysfunction, completing extensive continuing education in bladder health, bowel health, sexual health, pregnancy, postpartum, visceral manipulation, and complex pelvic pain. Additionally, she is trained in trigger point dry needling and is certified as a postpartum corrective exercise specialist (PCES). Laura’s treatment philosophy is a full system approach, looking at the person as a whole. She blends a mixture of both manual therapy and progressive exercise to help patients reach their goals. She strongly believes in patient empowerment and working together as a team. When not working she enjoys playing with her daughter, running, and spending time outdoors.
