My goal is to always provide a patient-centered, whole-person approach to healthcare treatment. I want to empower my patients to be engaged in their treatment plan and to be active participants in improving or maintaining good health.
Why UCHealth?
I have been very impressed with the quality of care provided and the values upheld by the organization. I am excited to be a part of a system that is constantly expanding and offering more options and resources for my patients.
Why got in profession?
I have been a patient of the health care system for most of my life and I knew from a young age that I wanted to be involved somehow in the healthcare profession. Nursing was a perfect fit for me because I have always been a “caretaker” and it allowed me to make a living out of using that skill! Advanced practice nursing has presented me with the opportunity to serve my community and patient population in a more profound way and I hope that I am able to make a positive impact in the Estes valley.

- Clinical interest for patients
-
I love the variety that working in primary care offers. I have a special interest in patients with diabetes, as I have had Type 1 diabetes since age 10. I have been working with high risk patients with chronic conditions for the past year and I especially love watching those patients get a better grasp on their condition(s) and make changes in their lifestyle which positively impact their health.
- Research interest for patients
-
I am always interested in diabetes treatment research.
