The beauty of primary care is that the patient and physician have the opportunity to really get to know one another and develop the trust and rapport that is critical to helping a patient reach his or her goals. It’s important for a patient to feel comfortable, even during vulnerable moments.
Spending time with friends and family is, of course, the most important thing. I also love traveling, exercising, trying new recipes and hunkering down with a good book. I’m currently pursuing a Masters of Public Health at Johns Hopkins University.
