Carol received her Master of Physical Therapy degree in 1994 from Samuel Merritt College (now Samuel Merritt University) in Oakland CA. She did her research project at Children’s Hospital in Oakland, CA on pediatric orthotics and gait. She moved to Colorado for the active lifestyle and joined the physical therapy staff at Poudre Valley Hospital in 1994 working first in inpatient rehab. In 1995 she joined the pediatric physical therapy team at the PVH outpatient clinic that is now called UCH Children’s Therapy Services. She began working in the NICU at PVH in 1999 and today works both in the NICU and at Children’s Therapy Services. Her interests are working with families to help infants and children reach their highest potential. She is happy to work with families and infants in the NICU and also to see these same infants in the outpatient clinic. Carol has taken advanced courses in pediatric gait, infant feeding, NICU fragile infants, manual therapy and pediatric taping. In pursuit of work/life balance she spends her free time with her husband and two children that includes hiking, horseback riding, gardening, cooking and travelling.
