I believe health and happiness are delicately balanced between physical, emotional and spiritual pillars—and these pillars adjust at various times as we navigate our unique journeys from birth to death. As a health care provider, I believe in providing comprehensive care for the whole person—accounting for all pillars and making partnered adjustments. I value knowing patients and their families and watching them grow and change over time. I believe in providing continuity of care through building respectful relationships, identifying common goals, and cultivating a teamwork approach. I strive to improve lives over the long term by advocating for my patients and families, partnering in health, and providing an educational platform to assist my patients in making the best decisions.
I believe in the mission, vision, and level of care provided by UCHealth. I have deep ties to Poudre Valley Hospital and Medical Center of the Rockies, and I strongly believe in the team members who work diligently to positively impact patients’ lives.
Nursing is a natural fit for me. I love the caring and technical aspects, but mostly, I love the connections. I got into the profession to save lives; I have stayed for the relationships, friendships, and humanity I encounter daily.
Beyond caring for patients, I enjoy mountain biking, running, fly fishing and exploring with my family. I also coach youth sports, including high school mountain biking and soccer.
