It's a girl! UCHealth celebrates first babies born in 2025
Aurora, Colo. (January 1, 2025) – Across UCHealth, patients welcomed little pink bundles of joy to start 2025. The first baby born in the UCHealth system was Arizeth Aguinaga, who made her appearance at 1:06 a.m. at UCHealth Memorial Hospital Central in Colorado Springs. She is the daughter of Jennifer Hiracheta and Sergio Aguinaga of Texas. The couple, along with Sergio’s parents, were driving to Denver for a planned vacation when Jennifer unexpectedly went into labor while passing through Colorado Springs. Baby girl Arizeth weighed 6 pounds, 5 ounces at birth.
A second baby girl was delivered at 2:42 a.m. at UCHealth Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland. Teigen Kiley is the daughter of Britni and Garett Kiley of Windsor. She weighed in at 7 pounds, 11 ounces. After two days in the hospital, Britni said it was looking like she was going to give birth right around midnight. Little Teigen had other plans, making her debut a few hours later and narrowly claimed the crown from a second baby who was born just one minute after her.

- UCHealth Parkview Medical Center in Pueblo welcomed Kehlani Villarreal at 5:03 a.m. today. She is the daughter of Erica Soto Sanchez and Carlos Villarreal.
- UCHealth University of Colorado Hospital in Aurora welcomed baby girl Castaneda born at 05:17 a.m. She is the daughter of Melissa and Jose Castaneda.
- UCHealth Poudre Valley Hospital in Fort Collins welcomed Chadlei Wren Hoover at 7:58 a.m. She is the daughter of Tifanne and Brannan Hoover of Cheyenne, Wyoming.
