Colorado Springs Orthopaedic Group, UCHealth strengthen partnership to expand access for patients

Colorado Springs patients now have more options for expert care

Colorado Springs, Colo. - Colorado Springs Orthopaedic Group (CSOG) and UCHealth are strengthening their long-term partnership to provide more options and expanded access to care for patients.

CSOG and UCHealth now jointly own and operate The Orthopaedic and Spine Center of Southern Colorado (OSCSC) on the UCHealth Memorial North Campus, and as part of this new, expanded partnership, UCHealth will increase its role in OSCSC. In addition, more CSOG surgeons will be caring for UCHealth patients at Memorial Hospital North.

“CSOG physicians and patients have appreciated a long and successful partnership with UCHealth,” said Dr. Tyler Bron, a CSOG joint reconstruction surgeon. “We believe this enhanced partnership will benefit the Colorado Springs community by expanding access for patients.”

UCHealth physicians and medical teams will continue to coordinate closely with CSOG providers before and after surgeries to ensure patients receive excellent care and have the very best outcomes.

“Colorado Springs residents are fortunate to have access to some of the nation’s best health care and most talented physicians, and our patients will benefit through this strong partnership by having more options for their care,” said Lonnie Cramer, president of UCHealth’s Southern Colorado Region. “In addition, outpatient surgery centers like OSCSC and UCHealth Eastview Medical Center offer patients the opportunity to receive the same high quality orthopedic surgical care in a setting that may be a lower cost to the patient than surgeries in a hospital, which is another benefit for patients.”

Orthopedic care and surgeries are now available at The Orthopaedic and Spine Center of Southern Colorado, Memorial Hospital North, Eastview Medical Center, Grandview Hospital and Memorial Hospital Central.
