Your providers can refer you directly to the clinic.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h2>Working together with you to get you healthy<\/h2>\n<p>If you\u2019ve been diagnosed with a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uchealth.org\/diseases-conditions\/gastrointestinal-cancer\/\">cancer of the digestive system<\/a>, you want to get healthy as quickly as possible. That\u2019s why, at UCHealth Memorial Central, we\u2019ve increased speed to treatment with our gastrointestinal multidisciplinary clinic, which includes a full team of doctors and support professionals who will develop your care plan with you and will be your support team from your first appointment through aftercare.<\/p>\n<h3>About our\u00a0clinic<\/h3>\n<p>Our highly specialized team of physicians, research staff, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uchealth.org\/services\/cancer-care\/supportive-care-nurse-navigators\/\">nurse navigators<\/a>, genetic counselors and others will evaluate your case and work with you to create a care plan. Through this clinic, you\u2019ll have the opportunity to meet with your entire team all in one appointment, which means less scheduling and travel time for you.<\/p>\n<p>Your primary care physician will always be in the loop, with communication from our physicians from your initial appointment through treatment and aftercare.<\/p>\n<p>Here you\u2019ll also have access to clinical research.
