The Critical Care Transport team has specialized training for ground inter-facility transports of pediatric and adult patients.
Our team is comprised of a Registered Nurse and a Registered Respiratory Therapist with at least 3 years of critical care experience. Both team members maintain BLS, NRP, PALS, and ACLS. The RNs also maintain TNCC certification and are based out of the UCH Emergency Department at Memorial Central.
The team is experienced in the care of trauma, medical, surgical, neuro, cardiac, and burn illnesses/injuries, in both pediatric (>5 kg) and adult patients.
Our medical director, board certified in emergency medicine, oversees all training programs and ensures the overall quality of the Memorial Star Critical Care Transport Team.
